What You'll Need
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed, and cut in half
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
What to Do
- In a saucepan, bring 2 quarts water to a boil.
- Add Brussels sprouts and reduce heat to medium. Cook 20 minutes, or until sprouts are fork-tender and very green; drain.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Cook onion until tender. Add vinegar and sprouts. Stir to coat sprouts and cook until heated through.
